Varudu News : 'Varudu' duplicate heroine leaked !

Gunasekhar’s plan is certainly upset, if the news related to ‘varudu’ heroine turns true. One thing that entire team of ‘varudu’ was successful is hiding the heroine from a very long time. Although from the scratch making of ‘varudu’ was a confidential matter, neither was there any news about the highlights of the movie nor was there anything known about the subject till last month end.

Allu Arjun was seen in his macho looks with six pack body on the audio CD covers and wall papers but the enthusiasm levels about the heroine have reached a peak stage after the audio release two days ago.

Few reliable sources from Tollywood reveal that, heroine of this ‘varudu’ is leaked through Internet and she is one of the Bollywood actresses whose name is Bhanu Mehra. Not much is known about the girl but her looks are too impressive and she can be an apt pair for Allu Arjun.

Final twist is that Gunasekhar is laughing at this stunt of web media and is known to have openly commented that, Bhanu Mehra is not the original heroine of varudu

Varudu to the hit screen with 300 prints

Allu Arjun starer Varudu is all set to release with 300 prints across the globe on March 31. Producer says, "We have made the film with huge budget. We are confident about the success of the film and our banner’s image would further enhance with this film. The film is all about five-day marriage concept.The film had a beautiful love story, besides good action."

"We spent a lot for the picturisation of the climax. Gunasekhar’s direction is amazing. There is a massive response to the audio of our film which was released into the market recently. Moreover, the film has done a good business in all the areas of the state", he added.


Tamil actor Arya is playing a negative role in this movie, while Asish Vidyarthi, who generally plays negative roles appeared in a soft role as the father of the hero. Music is by Manisharma, lyrics are by Veturi Sundararama Murthy, camera is by RD Rajasekhar, dialogues are by Thota Prasad, action is by Stun Siva, while story, screenplay and direction are by Gunasekhar.

The Film Nagar scuttlebutt machine has come up with an image of the Varudu girl. No, it is no imagined caricature, but a colour photograph, in which the girl is seen draped in a saree.

The girl is said to be one Bhanu Kaur, who hails from Amritsar. Hailing from the Sikh community, the girl is said to a Punjabi girl with a passion for acting.

It cannot be said for certain whether the girl is the heroine of the much-awaited movie, but her name has been doing the rounds for the past month.

Allu Arjun along with Varudu team including director Gunasekhar, producer DVV Danaiah conducts a pooja on Ram Navami at the Ram temple in Film Nagar. They also offered silken clothes to the deities and performed the celestial marriage.



Allu Arjun says, “Today is an auspicious day. On the occasion of the wedding of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, we are announcing that our film is being released on March 31. In our film there is a great prominence for the marriage. Director Gunasekhar moulded the 5-day wedding procedure excellently on the screen. Danayya also did not compromise on budget and spent lavishly for the movie.”



Director Gunasekhar says, “While penning a lyric for our film, Veturi wrote ‘Varudu Korina Pelli Ramayya Pelli, Vadhuvu Yevaro Kaadu Sitamma Talli…’. We narrated the marriage procedure of yesteryears wherein our elders used to perform it for five days. There was a great suspense on the heroine and it would end only on March 31. This is not just a publicity gimmick, but the audiences would definitely accept why we kept it a secret.”
